A replica of a Star Wars X-Wing spaceshipone flown in the famed movie franchise and represents the largest model ever made by Danish toy company Lego. Unveiled overnight, the spectacular structure consists of more than 5.3 million of the company's multi-coloured plastic bricks, weighs around 20,865 kilograms. It took 32 builders about 17,000 hours to put together. Used by Luke Skywalker to destroy the Death Star in the original Star Wars trilogy, the X-Wing model promotes the premiere of The Yoda Chronicles the US Cartoon Network next week. Builders began assembling the craft a year ago in the Czech Republic, before it was transported by ship to the United States. The model will stay in Times Square until Saturday.
