The United States Association for UNHCR
raises awareness and funds to support the
UN Refugee Agency's humanitarian work
around the world.

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, a two-time
Nobel Peace Prize winner provides shelter,
medical care and other life-saving assistance
to more than 36 million people worldwide, who
have been forced to flee their homes due to
war and persecution. It operates schools for
millions of refugee children, vocational training
for adults, clinics to offer physical and
psychological aid to victims of violence and
does much more to help people who have lost
so much to begin again.

In Pakistan, where millions have lost their
homes, their businesses and all possessions
to flooding, UNHCR is playing a leading role in
