We want our guests to come in, sit down and relax while enjoying a satisfying, affordable lunch.” Located at 647 Ninth Avenue near the corner of W. 45th Street, Cascina Ristorante is well-known for its traditional Italian country-style food and extensive award-winning wine list (2007 and 2008 Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast awards). The restaurant’s menu changes seasonally to showcase that season’s choice ingredients prepared with traditional Italian technique. The restaurant’s cozy décor of heavy wooden tables, oversized wine racks, lush red-colored walls, antique iron chandeliers, and a stone oven used to bake Cascina’s signature pizzas and breads, is reminiscent of a homey Italian kitchen found in the rolling vineyards of Italy. Lunch and dinner specials are served daily, along with a bar menu and a pre-theater prix-fixe dinner. Private party rooms and off-site catering are available.
