"See the city anew," (The New York Times) as you wind through the illuminated winter wonderland of the Holiday Train Show in the Enid A Haupt Conservatory. Step into a freeze-frame of the perfect holiday season in New York – twinkling lights surrounding replicas of historic landmarks and model trains speeding along more than a quarter mile of track. All recreations are made entirely from natural materials – the towering Brooklyn Bridge in sugar pine cones, a pomegranate torch for Lady Liberty.

A visit to the Holiday Train Show is an entire day of fun. Sip a hot chocolate or grab a bite to eat at one of our Cafes, decorate gingersnaps, visit with Thomas the Tank Engine™ (dates/times vary), and stroll through the 250 acres of the Garden’s grounds, spectacularly decorated for the show. Still have some names on your holiday list? Find just the right gifts at Shop in the Garden.

Annual Favorites: The original Yankee Stadium, majestic St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and some of New York’s most treasured Hudson River mansions. Locate your favorites on the Show Map. (Coming Soon)

New This Year:

Pennsylvania Station
"could be our most exciting building yet," says designer Paul Busse.
The original Pennsylvania Station, NYC's main train terminal from 1910 to 1964, is this year's blockbuster addition. More than just a hub for the model trains, Penn Station holds a special historical and architectural significance among New York City buildings.

Brooks Brothers Flagship
The Brooks Brothers flagship is located at 346 Madison Avenue at 44th Street in Manhattan. Founded in 1818 by Henry Sands Brooks as the first ready-to-wear fashion emporium in America, Brooks Brothers is the country’s oldest clothing retailer, and its flagship is a New York icon.
