A slew of international and exotic varietals will be poured, from countries such as France, USA, Spain, Greece, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Nestled under the 59th Street Bridge at the swank and ultra trendy restaurant Guastavino's, Wine Rave offers several concise educational courses on both Friday and Saturday in a modern lounge style restaurant. Notable courses include the brisk half hour "Sips of Wisdom" classes, led by some of the industry's top experts. Those not interested in classes can head towards the "Hip Sips" lounge, where wine pros will be on hand to discuss their wines and pour while you relax. And let's not forget the wines--against the spectacular backdrop of Guastavino's wines from all over the world will be poured. Among the many exhibitors are Korbel Champagne, Côtes du Rhône, Hahn, Little Black Dress, and J. Lohr. Not merely a posh event, Wine Rave also supports a charitable foundation with the Play For Your Cause "Build-A-Field" Fund; The ZogSports /Play For Your Cause "Build-A-Field" Fund is dedicated to helping build and maintain new recreational sports facilities in the New York-metro area. |
