Relax in a cool-relaxing seeting with a love one or family...
Dining in the Big Apple can be a pricey venture. But for two golden weeks, Winter Restaurant Week gives you bargain-basement prix-fixe lunch and dinner deals across the city from Jan. 21 to 25 and Jan. 28 to Feb. 1. Take dining chances all over town without fear of a staggering check: $24.07 gets you lunch, while dinner clocks in at a tight $35 (drinks and gratuity are not included).

Participating restaurants run the gamut from classic (Cafe Boulud; One If By Land, Two If By Sea) to relative newbies (Park Avenue Winter, Steak Frites Soho) to outer-borough bets (Water's Edge, Greenhouse Cafe). Restaurant Week also serves up some altruism with its entrees: American Express will donate 50 cents to the food rescue crew at City Harvest for meals charged on that credit card.
