The six men in Lo Còr de la Plana stomp out frenetic rhythms from Marseille, harmonizing in Occitan, a Romance language on the decline in southern France. Also, make sure to catch 84-year-old Dominican guitarist Puerta Plata, as well as Dulsori, a celebratory troupe of Korean percussionists performing in the samulnori and pansori traditions.
