Solidifying his reputation as one of America's top experts on Al-Qaeda, Lawrence Wright's book "The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11" was awarded the 2007 Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction.

Wright recently came off a sold-out seven-week run of his chilling multimedia presentation, "My Trip To Al-Qaeda," which was held at the Mercer Street Theater. Partly inspired by Al Gore's film "An Inconvenient Truth," Wright's show uses facts, figures, and PowerPoint presentations to illustrate the ideas of "The Looming Tower" on stage. This is a presentation not to miss, as it will educate even the most well-informed about the hard truths of Islam and its dangerous relationship with American culture.

Now, Culture Project is presenting an encore run of "My Trip To Al-Qaeda" at The Town Hall for two nights only: June 5th and 6th at 8pm.

After the Tuesday, June 5, performance, Mr. Wright will be joined by Aziz Huq, Director of The Liberty and National Security Project at NYU's Brennan Center and author of "Unchecked and Unbalanced: Presidential Power in a Time of Terror." Huq is an expert in the field of human rights, habeas corpus, national security, and the separation of powers.

Following the June 6 performance, join us for a talk-back with Mr. Wright and David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker and himself a Pulitzer Prize-winner.
