ImageWith its three music venues, the Broadway Baby Bistro & Piano Lounge is simply bursting with talent. You can see a show or just hang out in the lounge, where the fabulous Terri White (pictured to the right) holds forth with the super talented Michael Isaacs and Ricky Ritzel. The club is located at 318 West 53rd Street , between Eighth and Ninth avenues. Cover charges range from $10 to $20, and a $15 food/drink minimum applies in most cases. Chris Wade -- 29Lives: Volume l
Eclectic new songwriter Chris Wade kicks off our cabaret month celebration at Broadway Baby Bistro with an original revue of his theater songs, featuring a cast of 29 multi-talented singers spread over eight nights. This exiting new songwriter celebrates his 30th birthday with a unique collection of timely theater tunes that he wrote in his 20's. 29Lives will showcase musical theater songs, commercial-pop "salon songs," two rock cantata theatrical choral works, and a rock/pop interpretation of the verbatim text of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, called “Scenes from a Balcony.” The vocal talents of more than 10 different singers will be featured in each performance.

David Pellegrene Presents: The New Faces of Cabaret
One of Manhattan's most popular singer/pianists, David Pellegrene gets to work with many fresh faces and brilliant musical talents. He continues his ongoing Sunday series, presenting an incredible array of rising stars, including the 22 year old Mexican tenor German Rodriguez and dynamos like Blythe Gruda. Pellegrene's debut album, At Your Request, has gained wide attention nationally, and his support of young talent has gained him a loyal following.

Exciting new singer who is making waves returns, with multi-award winner Ricky Ritzel as musical director.

David A. Green, Ladies Man
Actor/singer David A. Green makes his cabaret debut, celebrating his feminine side in song from Broadway to Paris, singing in English and French. Jon Delfin serves as musical director. Joining Green on stage will be mezzo-soprano Lynne Greene-Brooke, as well as Thomas Menninger on accordion. Directed by Gregory Bossler.

First Annual “March is Cabaret Month” Celebration
Horace Vanderveer will co-host and emcee this first annual celebration. Among those signed on to perform are Suzanne Carricco, Jenna Esposito, Molly Pope, Marcus Simeone, Parker Scott, Leslie Orofino, Brandon Cutrell, Tom Andersen, Ben Rauch, and Ben Cherry. Tracy Stark will serve as musical director. Welcoming music will be provided by harpist Jose Luis, latino heartthrob German Rodriguez will make a special guest appearance, and the Members' Choice Top 10 Performers of 2007 will be announced during the show. Eric Hoffman with the Tedd Firth Trio
Hoffman was a trombonist for Vic Damone, Jack Jones, The Spinners, etc. While he was working with Jerry Lewis, famed conductor Lou Brown discovered his terrific, swinging vocals. These days, Hoffman performs in NYC with the Charles Persip Big Band and swings with his own band, Eric Hoffman & the Underdogs. Come hear him at Broadway Baby in this special show with the Tedd Firth Trio.

Birthday & CD release event. Bronwyn Rucker celebrates her new CD on Original Cast Records, Radon Daughters -- A Radioactive Musical, with music and lyrics by Woody Regan & Bronwyn Rucker. There will be surprise guests, and the show will be introduced by radio and TV legend Joe Franklin. Complimentary CD for audience members. Tonight: Lola Blau
The amazing story of Austrian stage, screen, and cabaret star Lola Blau unfolds in this explosive, one woman revue by Georg Kreisler (English version by Don White), directed by Dick Top. Starring as Lola is Anna Krämer, with Joe Völker on piano. Forced into exile in 1938 by the Nazis, Blau made an unexpected return 21 years later in Vienna to begin a tour that was abruptly canceled. This show has won acclaim in Germany, London, Vienna, and Switzerland.

A recent graduate of Cap 21 at NYU, Douglas has been appearing in musical theater since he debuted in Oliver! when he was 10 years old in his native Ft. Dodge, Iowa. This campy blast focusing on The Muppets is full of surprises, quirky trivia, and great songs. Sheldon Forrest serves as musical director.

Returning to cabaret after a year's absence, Scheckter presents a tribute the the legendary Lena Horne and her iconic, six-decade career. Included are such songs as "I'll Always Leave the Door A Little Open," “As Long as I Live,” "New Fangled Tango," "Push De Button," "If You Believe," and "The Lady Is a Tramp." Tedd Firth serves as musical Director, with Chip Jackson on bass and Peter Grant on drums.
