Gary Lucas, known for his work with Captain Beefheart, Jeff Buckley and John Zorn, melds his creative genius with his love with "Sounds of the Surreal," a combination of music and surrealistic film. While displaying silent films, Gary Lucas improvises solo guitar scores to create an experience that is mesmerizing and addictively haunting. Not only does Lucas take his influence from the Dada age of film, he takes modern horror classics such as "Mothra," "Rosemary's Baby" and "King Kong" to allow viewers to reinterpret these films and find harmony between them.
