While many people love to run off to other places for their Thanksgiving feast, for those who stay in town, there is still alot of other things to do while enjoying this four-day weekeend. A genuinely soulful blend of Christianity and jazz, The Jazz Ministry will be conducting it's Jazz Vespers and Midtown Jazz at Midday programs during the month of November. Jazz Vespers is hosted at Saint Peter's Church which is a comination of a religious service accompanied by a wide range of jazz styles. Playing at the Living Room of Saint Peter's Church every Wednesday is Midtown Jazz at Midday. The concert lasts for approximately one hour and fits conveniently within lunch time. Free mohitos and free dance lessons will be be part of the South Asian music production. Come through if you want an alternative taste to celebrating Thanksgiving.
