Fulton was born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1933 and moved to New York City in 1956 to attend the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater. Soap Opera star Eileen Fulton, who is best known for her role of Lisa Miller on the popular show "As The World Turns," will be performing at Feinstein's.
Fulton is multi-talented as an actress and singer and used her talents to the max throughout her career; at one point in the early '60s she worked in the mornings on the set of "As The World Turns," and afternoon matinee presentations of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" on Broadway, and evenings in the Off-Broadway musical "The Fantasticks."
In light of the death of her brother Jimmy McLarty who died suddenly on March 25th, while kayaking near his home in Maine, the show's set will have more meaning for her now than ever, according to eileenfulton.com.
She will be performing with bassist Tom Hubard, Jerry Vivino on reeds, and drummer Steve Bartosik.
About the band:
Hubbard is a Slide-Guitarist who's energy-driven style can be described as a combination of New Orleans rhythms, a funky Swamp backbeat and a taste of the Mississippi Delta. In recent years, Hubbard toured about 10 months out of each year, however, as of late, his travels have been declining in number and his concentrations are more on festival and studio activity. Tom's newest album entitled "Shadows and Potions" was released April 2003
Vivino can be seen nightly as part of the house-band Max Weinberg 7 on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."
And Bartosik has played drums for the Broadway productions of "All Shook Up," "Sweet Smell of Success," and "Peter Pan."
Tickets are available via the phone number above or ticketweb.com.
