Cheryl Smallman sits at the playground, skewering traditional female roles with dark and comic stories about her ambition, her fellow mothers, and their struggles to live up to an impossible ideal. We see what it's like when the drive for perfection lands her on "the other side of the click" - the door of the locked ward in the mental hospital. Cheryl shares hilarious adventures with her fellow patients, and shows us how, in a mere week's time, she realizes that personhood must precede motherhood.
