Gingold Theatrical Group presents Project Shaw, returning with two utterly ridiculous one-acts by George Bernard Saw: "Press Cuttings" and "Passion, Poison, and Petrifaction." The first is Shaw's 'suffragette comedy', involving a Prime Minister in drag, a conservative General out of control and some very determined women. The second is one of Shaw's most light-hearted larks: involving murder, sex, betrayal, finance and seltzer. These two short and highly entertaining plays will feature Matthew Arkin, Patricia Conolly, Jayne Houdyshell, Charlotte Moore, Euan Morton, Brian Murray, and Michael Musto. Howard Kissel will be hosting.

For the first time in recent memory, every play George Bernard Shaw ever wrote for the stage will be presented to New York audiences. Every sketch, full-length and one-act play will be performed as a concert reading. Each month, a specially assembled, star-studded cast will present a different play - many of which have never before been performed in New York City.

The 2007 edition of this series will be presented with a nominal admission charge of $15: available after the first of every month.

As produced and directed by David Staller at New York’s unique private club, The Players, one Monday a month will find eager Shavians gathering for this unique event.

Come join the fun and craziness at The Players on October 22nd!
