Let's face it--you may have all the intentions in the world of being a good gift-buyer this holiday season, but you end up buying terrible, last-minute trinkets anyway.
Ask anyone who works in retail and they'll attest to what a nightmare it is to work the Christmas Eve shift; hordes of frantic, barbaric customers turn savage and spend the store right up to the last second before closing (and, in many cases, even refuse to leave long after the doors shut). So spare the unnecessary headaches and check out these seasonal holiday markets currently open for business throughout New York City. At these stall-laden sites, you can find one-of-a-kind gift items such as fine artwork, handmade toys and unique jewelry among other options. Most of the markets are open until Christmas Eve, but to beat the rowdy 11th hour crowd; head out there early--your friends and family will be glad you did.
