New Yorkers from across the city will voice their opposition to the proposed ban

WHAT: On Monday, members of New Yorkers for Beverage Choices will host an event at City Hall encouraging New Yorkers to speak out against the proposed "soda ban." The gathering will feature business owners, City Council members, Teamsters and concerned New Yorkers discussing the consequences of the plan to limit the size of sugar-sweetened beverages to 16oz.

The coalition will also be delivering tens of thousands of petitions signed by New Yorkers from every corner of the city, protesting the ban and asserting their right to make their own beverage choices.
