Oktoberfest 2012 in New York City welcomes 230 FIFTH into the roster of annual salutes to the fabled Bavarian beer bacchanalia.

Five German beers and two Germanic gastronomic classics will supplement the considerable attractions of Manhattan's largest Rooftop Garden and Penthouse Lounge, when 230 FIFTH inaugurates its first Oktoberfest celebration, Sept. 22 to Oct. 7.

Beck's Oktoberfest, St. Pauli Girl, Spaten Oktoberfest, Hacker-Pschorr and Paulaner will be added to the rooftop bar's libations list for the duration of 230 FIFTH's High Altitude Oktoberfest, along with a bratwurst and cucumber potato salad platter and a custom made giant pretzel to soak up some of the suds. All the Oktoberfest brews will be priced at $6 a bottle, $8 for a half liter mug and $16 for a full liter mug, while both the bratwurst platter and the pretzel will go for $9.

As always at 230 FIFTH, there will be no cover for the Sky High Oktoberfest Fete on Sept. 29 or any of 230 FIFTH's High Altitude Oktoberfest festivities.

230 FIFTH's Oktoberfest German beer and food offerings will be presented daily Sept. 22 through Oct. 7 from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. The Oktoberfest brews will also be available during 230 FIFTH's popular weekend brunch, Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

230 FIFTH is located at 230 Fifth Avenue at the corner of 27th Street in Manhattan's historic Flatiron District. For more information, please visit www.230-fifth.com
