![]() Broadway at Birdland is proud to announce a partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn with a monthly concert series called "Frank & Friends." The series of very special one-night-only concerts will celebrate the songs and favorite performers from the composer's wide range of work in popular, theatrical and classical music. All profits will go to The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment. The premiere concert will take place on Monday, June 11 at 7pm, and will feature Rob Evan, Michael Lanning and Morgan James on vocals, with Wildhorn at the piano. Jason Howland will act as musical director. The Actors Fund is a national human services organization that helps everyone – performers and those behind the scenes – who works in performing arts and entertainment, helping more than 12,000 people directly each year, and hundreds of thousands online. Serving professionals in film, theatre, television, music, opera, radio and dance, The Fund's programs include social services and emergency assistance, health care and insurance, housing, and employment and training services. With offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, The Actors Fund has – for nearly 130 years – been a safety net for those in need, crisis or transition.
