![]() Join pianist Joe Alterman as he celebrates his new Miles High CD Give Me the Simple Life on Monday, August 27 at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center, 10 Columbus Circle #5, NYC. Alterman performs with tenor saxophonist Houston Person, bassist James Cammack, and drummer Gregory Hutchinson. Sets at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. $30 cover. $10 for students with valid student ID. As Marc Myers says in the liner notes: "As an NYU freshman, Joe wrote The First Night Home with hopes one day of playing the song with Houston. 'I still can't believe it came true,' Joe said. That's what happens when you've got what it takes."
