David Horvath, co-creator of Uglydolls and co-author of The Ugly Guides (Random House Children’s

Ugly Dolls have captured the hearts and imagination of
collectors everywhere with their adorable ugliness and hilarious
personalities. Today more than one million Uglydolls have been sold in
specialty shops and high-end retailers worldwide. Random House
Children’s Books is proud to support the Uglydolls with a series of three
Uglydoll® Ugly Guides – The Ugly Guide to the Uglyverse, The Ugly Guide to
Things that Go and Things that Should Go But Don’t, and (on
sale today, January 27th) The Ugly Guide to
Being Alive and Staying that way. Each of these guides is
illustrated by David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim
and showcases their quirky sense of humor while giving young readers great
insight into the Uglyverse.
