Page 1 of 2 ![]() Kid's Theater is Alive in Times Square; Photo: Brad Balfour In order to investigate some answers--do what I did; hop on the train and get off at 42nd Street--Times Square. That's the perfect place to start. No matter what age you are--with or without your parents--you can always find something fun to do there. It doesn't even a matter if you have a particular taste that's not easily satisfied, you'll be glad you started at Times Square. Among the many attractions there, the Virgin Megastore is one of my favorites. Its shelves are full of great stuff (I'll definitely buy something) and it's a great place to meet people. With a life of its own, this is a place to even do vintage clothes shopping, especially since I'm a fan of those styles. "Cherry," the mini-store inside, will satisfy your thirst for vintage designer clothes and accessories. ![]() Checking Out Toys R Us; Photo: Brad Balfour At the heart of the Big Apple is Grand Central--the oldest and most beautiful train station to see. Vanderbilt Hall, is home to its annual Christmas fair. And nearby at 6th Avenue, is the outdoor Christmas fair at Bryant Park. While there, don't forget to go skating, because it'll be gone before you know it. And of course, there is the skating rink at the Rockefeller Center. Or there's the EasyInternetcafe (between 7th and 8th Ave.) where any kid can satisfy the need to IM, google or write a new blog entry while hanging out at the crossroads of Manhattan. But that's only a taste of all the things to do. I suggest giving at look at the list on the next page and start planning your mid-blowing voyage to Times Square; you'll love it.
