Since 1984, Fleet Week has provided an opportunity for the citizens of New York City and environes to meet servicemen and women and to witness first-hand the latest capabilities of today's Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Fleet Week includes dozens of military demonstrations and displays, as well as public visitation of many of the participating ships. TimesSquare.com was on hand as the Navy band played in the epicenter of Times Square, and we spoke to some of the sailors who came to the Big Apple for this special event.
